not all fun and games

i remember the first time i saw someone using crutches. i was amazed because it just looked THAT cool. now that i have had my first and hopefully only opportunity to have to stumble around 3 legs at a time, i must say this: CRUTCHES SUCK.

at 3:10, i went to cypress bend to eat lunch with johanna, but when i got there, she THEN told me that she had a class at 3:30. what the heck. does anyone think that this might be useful information to know BEFOREHAND? but anyways, so somehow i am persuaded to go to class with her to eat my spaghetti. after getting the food, we walk across the street to the forty acres bus stop, and a few moments later, a bus pulled up.

the bus was PACKED. hardly anyone got off the bus, but there was a bunch of people waiting to board. i hop onto the front entrance, and unfortunately, the bus driver was a very compassionate lady. oh, and stubborn too.

she started telling people to give me a seat. i told her that it was ok, that i was only going to get off at the next stop anyways, but she wouldn't hear any of it. she parked the bus, got out of her seat, and told some guy to let me have his seat. i look to the back of the bus, and there's 320984580239 sets of eyes on me. and then i see oliver, and he's just laughing. i actually found it pretty funny too. and apparently so did johanna. so i shake my head, make my way to the empty seat, and sit down with a sigh.

then the entire time til the next bus stop a few hundred yards away, johanna's laugh is heard echoing throughout the bus. well, im glad she found the situation so humorous.

so no more crutches for me. i'd rather limp or even crawl around campus than have to do that hardcore triceps workout.
