short and simple
i got to see ophelia for the first time in 3 weeks on saturday. then she left on sunday and i won't see her for another 5 weeks. woe is me.

BUT, the one day i did get to see her, it was our 1 year anniversary!


happy one year =)

i'm still working in hong kong, and though it's tiring at times, i suppose it is all still very worth it. the 40-minute commute can be rather lengthy though.

here's a picture of the canton stampede that happens every day on the way to work in the morning and every day on the way home in the evening.


newfound fun thing to do: one of the best feelings in the world is just making it onto a subway train. and when i say "just making it," i mean stepping through when the doors are sliding closed indiana jones style.

of course, at the same time, a newfound pet peeve is just missing a subway train.
