man..the rockets game itself turned out to be the worst of the year..
but there were several interesting moments, as scott chou and simon yau can testify to..
well, we got there with 10 minutes to go until tip-off, but they had already run out of the free water bottles..
yeah, that basically ruined simon's night from the get-go..i bet hes STILL whining over it right now..
but anyhoo, the game was a blow-out loss, so by the beginning of the 4th quarter, the seats were already emptying..
so scott, simon, and i went down to about the 5th row from courtside to witness the rest of the massacre.
simon spotted clutch the bear in the first row signing autographs for little kids, so he walked over to him to try to get a hug.
scott and i watched simon while he waited patiently for clutch to finish signing this one little boy's autograph, and then he found his opportunity..
he raised his hand, looking for a high-five..
and got DENIED.
yep, thats right. clutch left him hanging there and turned around to sign some kid's water bottle.
lol scott and i couldnt stop laughing.
hahaha simon tried to play it off and everything, and eventually, this security guard made him sit down cuz he was blocking the view of the people sitting behind him.
heh yes, that was the highlight of the game.
well..for me and scott at least.
after the game finally ended, the three of us went scavenging for abandoned water bottles.
i mean, seriously speaking, who wants to go home after a pathetic game without feeling like you got something out of it?
simon went back to the upper level with a confident "feeling" that some kids had forgotten to take their water bottles with them, while scott and i stayed on the bottom level.
scott found an opened bag of peanuts, which seemed to satisfy him.
i found a toy helicopter, which seemed interesting at first, but then i started to imagine the kid's mouth that it had probably been in, and i dropped it back on the floor.
the only thing that might not make tonight such a disappointment would be the free picture that us 3 goons took..
you know, the one where you can be superimposed into a picture standing next to yao ming?
hope it turns out ok..ill give the link tomorrow or something =]
welps my legs are still in a bit of pain, so i think i better rest them now..
since i gotta go to work tomorrow morning and everything..er..i mean, later on THIS morning..
OH i almost forgot. good luck to everyone taking SAT in 8 hours!!
don't worry people -- i know you'll all do just AWESOME!
