a hello, a battle, and then a goodbye

the last 24 hours have been pretty busy. played ball yesterday for bout 3 hours straight, then came back to my room and played counter-strike with some buds. CBS was awesome yesterday. we had some "spontanteous outreach" where we just went out to different dorms and just talked to people.

my small group went to jester west floors 7 and 8. ted and i paired up and went to the first door. he knocked, and a guy opened the door (i don't remember his name).

ted/me: hey wassup man.
guy: hi...
ted/me: what you up to?
guy: just chatting online...
ted/me: oh, that's cool. well, we're just going around the dorms talking and getting to know people.
guy: oh, that's cool...
*awkward silence*
ted/me: well, nice to meet you. see you around..
guy: yeah..take it easy..

so the next room we go to, i knock, and i guy named jose answers the door. he was dressed in all black and had piercings in every possible place on his head.

ted/me: hey wassup man.
jose: hi...
ted/me: what you up to?
jose: just watching some tv...
ted/me: oh, that's cool. well, we're just going around the dorms talking and getting to know people.
jose: oh, i see...
*awkward silence*
ted/me: well, nice to meet you. see you around..
jose: yeah..later..

next room down, i knock, and there's no response. thinking there was no one there, ted bangs on the door. we then hear an annoyed voice from inside, "WHAT?!" ted and i run away and hide.

so ted and i decide to try another hallway. we knock on a door, and a guy named dan invites us in. wow, he turned out to be such a nice guy. we talked for about 20 minutes about everything from airplane tickets to engineering. i hope i see him around campus sometime..

anyhow, afterwards, the junior girls (deborah, justine, ophelia, vivian, connie) arrived! hurrah! after helping them drop off their stuff in annie's room, we all went to battle of the sexes. of course, we all know who won. the boyyssss! =P and uh, yeah, if anyone could please destroy all the pictures and videos that were taken yesterday night, it would be greatly appreciated.

after that, we decided to walk up to the capitol for some reason. then we went back to my dorm and ordered food and just hung out. final destination 2 was pretty entertaining.

today consisted of a lunch at chipotle and then shopping at co-op annex. heh then ophelia, justine, vivian, and mr. & mrs. sha ditched us to go back to sugar land =P

anyways, im gonna try to scratch off the rest of this nail polish now.
