A Time for Everything

there is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven:

a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

and slowly, yet assuredly, familiarity is giving way to change...

*sigh* my cousins left for hong kong this morning. it feels so weird now without them here. yeah, i know theyre only gonna be gone for the summer, but when they get back, i'll only have a couple weeks or so until i hafta leave to go to austin. weird how things can change so much so quickly. heh..yesterday there were still 7 people living here. and yet, now, today, at 3:35 in the afternoon, i am the only one home, sitting in my cousins' empty room, filled with cardboard boxes and empty shelves.

the end is near. i can hardly believe it. 7 days of school left? i can still remember back when i first stepped off the bus and through the doors of dulles middle school. i had 7 years of school left. im gonna say this right now. this is addressed to everyone who i call a friend. after this year, you people BETTER stay in touch.

or else..

hey everyone! well, in light of all the people who were constantly asking me when the prom pictures would be up, i am now making a CD that will be stuffed with all my prom pictures and videos..

eh..and, yes. apparently, i forgot about a whole 32 MB of pictures from this other memory card i had, so there are gonna be pictures on there that arent posted on my picture page..

and, of course, theres over 34 minutes of video..so you're gonna wanna watch those as well..

so, there's a total of about 180 pictures and videos combined..

if you want a copy, say so. thanks.

in my honest opinion, after viewing 984930284902980 pictures, i must say this is my favoritest prom picture of all..
=)
well, today started off rather terribly. it seems i fell asleep at about 2:30 last night on the couch in my living room. then today at 6 AM, my dad wakes me up, and i was like "CRAP!!!" you see, i STILL hadn't finished the stupid portfolio assignment for mrs. spradley. how freakin' annoying. so i work and work and work and FINALLY finish at 8:45. i go to school, once again drowsy due to lack of sleep.

*sigh* and now, it is almost 9:30, and i must say it has been a rather pleasant day. really relaxed..all i did today was come home after school, eat ice cream, put prom pictures online (which took FOREVER), watch tv, eat dinner, shower, work out, eat more ice cream, watch more tv, and now i am planning on working out some more. ive gained 7 pounds since the beginning of this month and am now closing in on 130! well on my way to 140 ;)

anyways, i know you some of you people have been checking out my prom pictures. now tag me! dont make me hunt you down one by one..cuz trust me, i'll do it..
and..THEY'RE UP!
i repeat: PROM PICTURES ARE UP AND AVAILABLE FOR YOUR VIEWING PLEASURE.

the link is on the side column to your left.
( <--- that way)
enjoy, and please tell me what you think about the pictures or just leave any general comments about prom on my tagboard.

alrite, let's just take care of this now.

CLEMENTS PROM 2003

personally, i still can't bring myself to fully comprehend the fact that my senior prom has come and gone, but hey, it was such an awesome day. to tell the truth, it turned out much better than i had anticipated. and hey, it didnt hurt to look incredibly sexy while i was having fun ;)

the day started out with the girls' pre-prom "picnic." the girls had given the notion to all the guys that there would be a picnic in the morning to early afternoon, but after they picked us up, the made us put blindfolds on. then, to make things worse, annie drove around in circles for what seemed like hours just so michael, simon, and i would have no idea of our whereabouts. when the joy ride finally came to a stop, we were outside first colony mall. turns out the "picnic" was actually a couple of hours of fun at the video arcade!

the arcade was pretty tight. more than anything else, it really brought back memories of middle school, which is probably the last time ive played in the arcade. i totally owned up phil on air hockey, but then i got owned by this scooter video game. the brake was broken!! but it's all good -- it seemed like everyone had lots of fun there. so, a big THANKS to the girls for planning everything!

after lunch, i returned home to kill some time before heading back out. michael came over to work out, and i watched in amazement as he benched 165 pounds. amazing. at about 4:30, i was set to go in my tuxedo, so my parents wanted to take some pictures before i left. at about 5:00, i went to go pick up jane with my chaffeur, michael. jane's mom answered the door, and she said she wanted to take some pictures too, so i stepped inside to see jane. the moment i saw her, i went speechless. i mean, WOW. she looked gorgeous =) after a few snapshots, we headed to alex yang's house.

if there's one thing i learned from this entire experience, it is this: some guys spend even more time getting ready than girls. scary, isn't it? for example, at alex's house, simon musta spent 30 minutes in the restroom "getting ready." now what the crap could you do for half an hour?! he doesnt even have much options with his hair, since it's so short. i don't get it. but anyways, we took buncha pictures there, and at about 6, jane and i got into scott's car to go pick up his date, bea.

when we pulled up to bea's house, joseph's group pulled up too! it was kinda weird, but then we just took some pictures right there in front of her house. after 10 minutes or so, we left to go to ophelia's house.

looking back, we mighta spent more time at ophelia's house than at the actual prom, but it's ok. after a million pictures were taken, we sped off for vargo's!

unfortunately, there was a minor setback because peter got into a minor car accident, but everyone got to vargo's by about 8:00. we took a scenic walk in the park thingie there and took some more pictures. then we got seated in the restaurant. after ordering, we waited forever for the food to finally arrive. we had a good time at the restaurant, but by the time we left vargo's to go to prom, it was already 10:45.

after reaching adam mark's hotel, everyone got their masks (gay, yes) and then jane and i took prom pictures. i can't wait until we get them! hehe but anyhow, the dance floor turned out to be rather pathetic. everyone was crammed onto a space that should have fit only about 30 people or so, so it was pretty retarded. even worse, everyone was so full from dinner that we didn't even touch the food that was there. but it's ok, it was still fun =] danced until 1:00, when the group headed back to alex's house for the after-prom party.

we didn't have much time, so we just played the prom video that we had put together asap for the girls to see. unfortunately, the girls had to leave right after the video finished, so i took jane home before returning back to alex's house for the night.

wow. whatta day. you don't really need to know what happened for the rest of the night/morning at alex's, and plus, im not really sure how we managed to waste so much time, but yeah, prom was awesome! thanks jane for making it so special! =)
prom: details revealed later.
stay tuned.
