TGIF!! wow..another week has passed by SO QUICKLY!! *sigh*

anyways..good news today: i found out about my lost paycheck!!
well, you see, i had logged about 17 hours of work time, so i expected to receive my paycheck of about $120 last friday..
however, when i went to SWCC to retrieve my check, it was nowhere to be seen.

since then, i have been calling back every day to find out where it may be.
FINALLY today, i gotta hold of my boss, and he told me that i hadda fill in some income tax papers or something? but, yeah. after i fill those out, i can get my paycheck. *whew*

hahahaha man o MAN the fun never stops here at my house.
my cousin was just taking a shower, and i was doing my homowork in my room, when all of a sudden, i heard a short yelp, followed by a weird groan that sounded something like "aiyugh," and ending with a bang on the bathroom door.
i didnt know what to think of it, and then jason went up to the door, knocked, and asked "hey! are you okay?!"
my cousin quickly answered "yeah, im fine.."
jason and i laughed at the groan that my cousin emitted and concluded that he had hit his head somewhere, which caused him to hit the door.

when he came out of the shower, we got the clear story. lol i still cant stop laughing!
before he stepped into the shower, he turned on the hot water, and put his hand in the water to test its temperature, expecting it to be cool. however, it turned out to be steaming hot, so by reflex, he pulled his hand away, only to have his hand collide with the hot water knob. this is probably where the groan occurred.
in reflex to that pain, he quickly retracted his hand, which caused his head to jerk back and smash the door.

now after his shower, he has a burnt hand and a bump on his head.

lol its really hard to explain, but it was just too funny not to at least try to blog.
haha maybe if you come over sometime, ill give you a visual.

another day of school has come and gone..
today was pretty boring..except for PE..
you see, theres 3 different classes in 3rd period..there's coach rankin, coach miller, and coach farley..
after doing an array of exercises to begin the day, coach farley yells "MY CLASS IS UPSTAIRS!!" (meaning his class has to work out instead of play basketball)
so today, after he shouts this statement, eric chan bravely walks up to the 6 foot 4 farley and challenges him: "how bout if i beat you 1-on-1, i getta play ball!"
farley smiles and mutters "1-on-1? ill take you 1-on-5!"
he then proceeds to grab eric's biceps, and finding that they are, in fact, as scrawny as they look, he says "look at these guns! you needa work out!"
ah..that coach farley. interesting guy.

its great having 3 people in the house who are willing to play ball at any given time =)
hehe even though its freakin cold outside, jason, my 2 cousins, and i just went out to shoot some hoops..
my younger cousin, joseph aka owen, wore these tight blue jeans that just kept the rest of us laughing until tears came to our eyes. lol..
he called himself the "dallas cowboy"..

but anyways..today's lesson: don't practice dunks when it's cold outside.
my fingers are now numb, and one of them is bleeding.
but hey, no pain no gain ;)

hm..a couple of weeks ago..my dgroup was talking about making a list of things that we'd like to accomplish in our lifetimes..
you know, a list of stuff, both short-term and long-term, that we want to do sometime..

now that i think about it, i think thats an awesome idea. everybody needs to have certain things that they want to complete in their lives, so i think im gonna start that list now..

mok's to-do list:
1. bring 10 people to christ
2. go skydiving
3. dunk on a 10-ft goal
4. visit hawaii
5. teach sunday school
6. lead a discipleship group

hehe i know i know, its all pretty random, but hey, its all good.

anyways, im losing terribly in that poll to your left..how come?!

man..this entire year is going by so fast..
i cant believe i only have 2 6-weeks left as a high school student..
how scary is that?
i mean..even TODAY went by really quickly. TODAY. A MONDAY!! *sigh* monday's usually drag along..
blah..i still remember the first day of school this year -- the sudden realization that i was among the oldest in the school.
heck, i remember my very FIRST first day of school..
where did all the time go?!

i miss elementary school..a time where immaturity was accepted..a time where i ruled the playground..
i miss recess..
i miss playing basketball against my PE coach..
i miss playing soccer..
i miss owning up in spelling bees..
i miss only having 2 classes..
i miss having super duper nice teachers..

i miss middle school..a time where i really got to know some close friends..a time where basketball was everything..
i miss going to chicago with the orchestra..
i miss being angry at getting a 95 on a report card..
i miss open gym after school..

and lo and behold, i am now in high school -- my final semester in high school, as a matter of fact.
luckily for me, my maturity level has barely increased at all since elementary school, which keeps my life interesting..
luckily for me, i now have 6 family members living with me, which livens up the atmosphere at home..
luckily for me, i know i have close friends who will always be there for me, which reassures me that there is such a thing as "friends forever"..
luckily for me, i have the best girlfriend in the world, which gives me even more motivation to get out of bed every morning..
luckily for me, i have God as the foundation of my life, which keeps my world secure..

*sigh* heres a message to my future, no matter how big, intimidating, and scary it may be: bring it on, chump.
