wow. God seriously never ceases to amaze me. He is so awesome!!
just yesterday, i was talking to grace, and she told me that the thailand mission trip had been cancelled, but john lin was gonna try to convince AIM to let a few more people go to atlanta.
truth be told, i was pretty skeptical about it, and grace's comment that AIM was really strict just furthered my concerns.

nonetheless, i prayed my heart out yesterday, and im sure at least a few other people did too ;)

but TODAY, God really showed me the true power of prayer.
alex called me in the afternoon and told me that there were 5 spots open for the atlanta trip!
i was literally jumping for joy!!

*sigh* God will save the day =)

anyhow, today's prayer meeting was incredible.
really gotta chance to share with everyone there about the impact that the JPGs has had on me..
i really hope that more people will realize how united our fellowship can be if people can just learn to be real with each other.
but, yeah, seriously, being a JPG has changed my life so much..
i couldnt have dreamed of a better bunch of guys to call my brothers in Christ.

after leaving church, phil needed dinner and a ride home, so we stopped by burger king on the way..
he ordered a meal, and i added a couple of tacos to the order, which came to $7.11.
phil said he'd pay for my tacos, but he only had $7.00. i thought i would have 11 cents, but to my surprise, i only had 9 cents in my coin holder thingiemajigger.
so, while we were waiting in the drive-thru line, i searched the back of my car, but to no avail.
then i stepped outside of the car to look for change, and after a minute or so, i found a penny! but, i was still 1 cent short..
it was time to pull up to the window, so i was hoping the burger king guy would be nice enough to just accept $7.10..
or, stupid enough to miscount the money i gave him..
or, indifferent enough to just not care =P

well, turns out, right after i give him the money, i look outside on the ground, and what do i see? another PENNY!!
i quickly opened my car door to retrieve it. ah, how awesome =]

heh, anyways, today has been just GREAT!!
but, now its time to study..later!

well, i decided to start up a list of things that will definitely be missed when i go off to college..
heh, sorry, still kinda stuck in that "sentimental" sorta mood.

so, i stuck a list titled to be missed on the left-hand column in place of the summer poll.
(from the votes that were turned in, i got the feeling that most of you are bums who are just gonna stay at home, so whats the point of asking? =P)

but, yeah, i know im leaving a LOT of stuff out, but ill just add stuff whenever i think of it..

im greatly disappointed, but i guess i hafta accept the fact that God knows what's best, and hey, maybe hes got something else in store for me.

anyways, i just heard that john lin is trying to ask the AIM organization whether or not they can add 6 more people to the atlanta mission trip..
this way, the thailand team can go to atlanta instead..

bleh. iono how slim the chances are, but please, if you can, help me pray for this.

you know sometimes i get goosebumps just thinking about how different my life is gonna be next year.
everything that im used to, everything that ive grown so comfortable with, will all be changed.

no longer will i live under the same roof as my parents and siblings.
no longer will i be able to share laughs every day with my cousins just down the hall.
no longer will all of my closest friends be within 10 minutes drive from my home.
no longer will there be anyone there to tell me to do my homework.
no longer will there be anyone there to tell me what not to do.
no longer will there be anyone there to wake me up when i oversleep.

its a scary thought, but i guess it all comes with the whole "growing up" thing.

but, yeah. it was pretty random, but yesterday night, i just waltzed over to jason's bedroom at about midnight.
i ended up talking to him for about 4 hours about how things are gonna be next year..even gave him a couple of pointers about how to tackle high school.
bleh. it sure is gonna be weird not having him and jennifer around..im so used to always seeing them every single day.
heh..and from now on, remind me to not take it for granted that i have 3 people at my house who are always willing to play ball with me in the driveway..

woke up at 10 today with the ringing of the telephone next to my bed, and then, eh..
i dont really remember who i talked to on the phone..either michelle, ophelia, or gloria?
well, anyways, some female voice ordered me to meet at mcdonald's at 10:20 to sign baptismal cards for people, so i lost about 30 minutes of sleep.

but anyways, after stopping by mcdonald's, got to church at 11 in time for an awesome easter worship.
the sermon was also very well organized, and then last came the baptisms.

alex, simon, jeremy, and i screamed our hearts out when our fellow JPGs (phil, xiao, and peter) walked into the tub..
phil and peter both gave great testimonies..
*sigh* i think my eyes actually teared up during peter's..
or, maybe there was just something in my eye...iono.. =P
but, yeah, forreal, i thank God for each of you guys..
i dont think i tell you guys that enough.

i thank God for the JPGs, for this opportunity to really establish such close-knit friendships with all you guys.
im not gonna go on and get all teary-eyed right now, cuz theres still a bit of high school left before summer, but watch out. one of these days, im just gonna hafta show my love..hehe

anyhoo, played bball at about 2-4, for the first time in what seems like centuries..
got to work at 4:10 all sweaty and stinky, but hey, its all good..
hehe, kinda weird, time passed by SO quickly at work..
spent the first 2 hours just shining silverware..lol.
there were SO many people that ate at the restaurant for lunch..glad i missed it! =)
