la la la..

so i wanted to find out if yvonne was in one of my classes yesterday..

mok says (12:43:06 AM): are you in my td301 class?

..12 hours later..

yoyososo (12:42:19 PM): yes

what a quick response.

anyways, i've decided to put up another poll on this here blog. as far as the last poll is concerned, the people have spoken, and i declare that it is officially better to be smart and not-so-hardworking than hardworking but not-so-smart. or maybe this just shows that more lazy people voted than the diligent folk. *shrug

returning back to the subject of the new poll, i got into a heated discussion (not really) yesterday about the best smoothie place. tina insisted that jamba juice was smoothie paradise, but i strongly disagree, as i said, quote "jamba juice sucks," or something to that effect. thirsty's smoothies are far superior, but i guess tina is not aware of this common knowledge. so join me in proving her wrong! mwahaha..

anyhow, i went to both of my classes today! if you see me, give me a pat on the back. or a kiss if you're a girl. no choice if you're a guy, sorry.

and so it continues..

another day of school. had 3 1/2 hours of school today..

TD301 was pretty interesting. weili & simeon are in my class, and i THINK yvonne might be in it too, but im not sure. anyhow, looks to be an easy A.

ECO304L looks to be a difficult class. attendance is mandatory, and there's gonna be a nice alphabetical seating chart, so i will soon be separated from my buddies in that class, namely alan, daniel, & tina. oh well, a few new friends never hurt nobody.

BA324H was quite relaxing. saw a few people from my BA101H group last semester and got some time to catch up on what's been happening in their lives. anyhow, first thing the teacher does in class is point at me, and he tells me to stand up.

prof: hi, im don jones, what's your name?
me: *shakes hand* im jonathan.
prof: hi jonathan. what do you expect out of this class?
me: i expect to..learn.."stuff"..about..business..communication.
prof: "stuff," huh? i love when i read that on evaluations. i learned "stuff" in this class.
me: *chuckles and attempts to sit down*
prof: no, don't sit down yet. let's try that introduction again. hi, my name is don jones.
me: *shakes hand* im jonathan.
prof: hi jonathan, what's your last name?
me: mok.
prof: hi jonathan. see when you're tugging at your shirt with your other hand and you have your body turned kind of askew, it gives me the impression that you're not really interested to meet me. that might not be the case, but that's just the impression that im getting. let's try again. hi, im don jones.
me: *shakes hand* im jonathan mok.
prof: that was better. but then you're kind of tailing off near the end. let's try it again. hi, im don jones.
me: *shakes hand* im jonathan mok.

i think you kind of see where this is going. the entire ordeal took about 5 minutes while it felt like an eternity standing up there with 28 sets of eyes watching the entire experience, but hey, its all good. pretty cool professor, so this class should be fun.

oh and one more thing before i go. chris huang, if you are somehow reading this, you are my american idol.

and so it begins..again

i went to both of my classes today! hip hip hooray! a couple quick evaluations real quick..just for kicks.

GOV310L
in the same auditorium as my philosophy class last semester. prof's name is enelow, and first impression is that he is pretty boring, but he tries to be funny so i guess i gotta give him credit for that. i guess overall he wasn't too unbearable. a straightforward guy, so that's good. first thing he said in class: "it might be a problem getting a seat today, but don't worry; this won't be a problem again until our first test." i also enjoyed another quote: "the tests are all multiple choice; you don't even have to know how to write! you fill in the right ovals, you win!" yeah. anyhow, happy to find tim poon in my class, i just wonder how many times we're both gonna go to class.

CH305
same prof. same location. same time. at least this time angela hsu is in my class too. haha sucker, she took CH301 last semester instead of CH304K with me, where i learned easy stuff like what makes up the atmosphere =P anyhow, campion just went over the syllabus for about an hour. *sigh this time around, he decided to make the class a bit more difficult. an 85 is still an A, but this time homework assignments are no longer extra credit. boo. and there's 4 tests AND a final. man, what's going on. angela is such bad luck. heh j/k..or am i?

anyhow, now that i've put in a hard day of work, i think it's time to just chill, so that's what im gonna do.
