still more AWESOME than i know...

after so many years of going to camp, i think its pretty easy to think you know what to expect. this year, however, seems so much more special. this is gonna be my last year as a camper, so im gonna make sure i cherish every single moment. i get the feeling that once again, God's gonna find a way to simply blow me away with his awesomeness. He has a tendency to do that =)

my case of insomnia has returned. i actually crawled under my covers yesterday at 12:30, only to end up tossing and turning until 4 am. i think ive just been worrying about stuff too much. well, i guess you wouldn't really call it worrying, just thinking i guess. thinking about the future and whatnot. but i talked to a good pal of mine yesterday, and what he told me really encouraged me. i just needa put all my worries aside and know that God's in control. no more worrying!!

so im running on a mere 4 hours of sleep. hadda get up at 8 today to take our civic to the shop. gonna eat lunch soon, then heading over to church to help out with the new building.

and then...camp's tomorrow!! can't believe it's finally here! hehe im actually all packed up already. well, at least with all my essentials. planning to go over to dollar tree later to pick up some goodies (ie shampoo, body wash, etc).

hehe and it turns out im one of the official camp photographers, so that should be interesting. wonder how many pictures i can take in 4 days...

im aiming for 1000.

so today i went to eat lunch with mr. sherman yeung. pretty cool guy, i must say. had some pretty good quality time together and got to know him better. *sigh* i guess there's just another one of the millions of reasons why i wish i could stay here another year.

at 1:30, i went to the dentist -- the place ive been dreading for weeks. i had the feeling that i had at least 6 cavities. i even thought i SAW some with my naked eye, but when it was all said and done, i didnt have ANY cavities! hehe my sister got one.

..not that that makes me happy or anything. i gotta bring her back to get her filling.

but anyways, peter and i are finally working on the collage that we've been talking bout for a while now.

wow God is awesome. ive had some stuff on my mind for the past week or so, but in the span of say, 24 hours, 4 different people told me the exact thing that i needed to hear. if it's meant to be, it'll happen. i guess i really needa cast all my anxieties on God and just trust with all my heart that He knows what's truly best for me.

today was my last day at work. you know things are going your way when you walk into work sweaty and nasty, not to mention 2 hours late, and your boss smiles and gives you a high-five. good stuff. i guess im gonna miss this job. not that i ever really needed the money, but it was just a taste of the real world i guess. ah well, im off to "die hok" (college, in cantonese), direct translation: big school. ha. i guess im a big kid now. =P
