ok from now on..
someone remind me to migrate north for the summer. i absolutely detest houston weather. so i go to work today, finally, after a 6-week vacation. work goes by fine, and then once 3:00 rolls around, my boss says i can leave. so everythings fine until the moment i walk outside. holy crap it's gotta be at least 120 out there. i walk 100 feet to my car, get in, and jump right back out. it's like an oven in there, no joke. so i turn on the engine, crank up the AC, close the door, and wait outside for a couple of minutes. i then get ready to leave, and for some reason, the car only feels hotter than it did before. greeeattt...so i step inside anyways, and try to put the car in reverse, but to no avail. everything i touch is steaming hot. i think i actually almost got a 1st degree burn from touching my steering wheel with my bare hands. so i take off my stupid dress shirt and use it as cushioning. it takes 2 minutes to get from sweetwater country club, where i work, to my house, where i live. in those mere 120 seconds, my body worked up a sweat as if i had been working out for 3 hours. so i get home, angry and nasty, with all my clothes sticking to my body, and i look in the mirror and, yes, my face was glistening. sexy. i looked down at my arms, and it looked like i had just gotten out of a swimming pool.

blahh..someone take me to nyc or something. im being cooked alive down here.

anyways, work went pretty smoothly. there was this new guy there named ricardo. he turned out to be the boss's son, and he was just returning to swcc for a while after working there about 3 years ago. haha this guy is awesome. i guess he just reminds me alot of myself when i first started working. hehe we were there about 10 minutes when i noticed that the coffee machine was spurting out coffee all over the place. i started laughing and asked what he did, and then we both just started cracking up. haha i guess it was good to finally have someone else do all the stupid stuff at work ;)

well, im gonna take a shower now.

hm..on 2nd thought, i'll listen to simon's advice. why take a shower if you're only gonna get dirty later? =P

wow busy day yesterday. i guess the highlight was the 2 movies i watched with the church crew at ophelia's house.

the first movie, the omen, was terrible with the exception of one amazing head-slicing scene. heh, i guess it's a guy thing..

the second movie, changing lanes, was altogether decent i suppose..not as good as i thought it would be, though. yeah, then the guys got kicked out of the house for some reason..i still don't see why the GIRLS couldnt have just left to go to gloria's house =P

many people coming and going in the next week or so..jason and jennifer coming back from camp good news tomorrow afternoon; jeremy, david, and phil coming back from UT for pre-camp rally; jason and jennifer are leaving for camp good news again on sunday; jeremy, david, and phil are leaving for UT again on sunday..hehe i guess it's just the same 5 people, but it seems like alot..

oh and ophelia's gonna ditch everyone for washington today, and pretty soon (not sure when) alex and deborah (who else?) are going on an alaska cruise with their families..

we live in a world that has totally twisted up the concept of love. nowadays, "love" often means infatuation or lust or sex, but God's love is totally pure. He loves each of us more than we could ever imagine. each time we sin, we hurt Him deeply, and yet nothing we do or say can make Him love us any more or any less. isn't that just amazing? i mean, just thinking about a love that has no bounds renders me speechless.

my new blog background is a pic with this awesome guy that i met in atlanta. his name is darren king, and miraculously, i gotta chance to talk to him each of the four days that i was in town. i'll give more details later, but this guy really touched my life, and im even planning on staying in touch with him.

i was just wondering if this happens to anyone else..

say, in the mornings, or something, when your alarm clock goes off, does it become part of your dream? like, say the radio goes off. do you still stay asleep as music starts playing in your dreams? that just happens to me all the time...my alarm clock will go off, and then all of a sudden, in my dream, i have a sudden urge to go to a club or something.

OR if the alarm goes off and it makes beeping noises, in my dream there's a fire drill or something going on, so i don't know to wake up.

anyways, im just bringing this up cuz this morning, i was dreaming about some random stuff. i think i was having a party at my house or something. then, all of a sudden, steven tso showed up at the front door. so i started talking to him.

at 9:30 am, i woke up, and it was the weirdest feeling in the world. i could still hear steven's voice. turns out he was in the next room, talking to my brother.

mmk thats it for now. maybe i'll share a few more random thoughts later.

ah yet another day filled with tons of stuff. hadda be a chaffeur in the morning and take my sister to her friend's house, then played some nba live 2003 on gamecube, then brought my brother and my cousin to my dad's office, then went out to eat lunch at fuddrucker's, then drove down to bellaire to get my car back from the shop (again), then took my brother and my cousin home, then called up some people to go to open gym, then went to play ball at open gym, then went to sweetwater country club to tell my boss that i'm still alive and ready to start working again, then spent some time working out there, then came home and played a little more gamecube, then ate a yummy dinner at home, then drove with my dad to minute maid park to see the astros game.

*whew*

in a way, this feels like my final summer. ever. far from the truth though, right? subconsciously, i think im trying to cram everything i can into each and every day, to make the most out of my time while im still here i guess.

anyhoo, is anyone interested in going to an astros game next week in a big group?? tell me if you are!

it was cool seeing jeremy, phil, and david at church for the first time in a while. they only stayed until 1, but its all good. seeing steven tso again was also a welcome sight.

after watching the orange mission team presentation during service, it really made me wanna just go up on the stage to talk about atlanta. but man, God is awesome!

i wanna see if theres gonna be an atlanta mission team presentation before i share anything more about my experience in atlanta, so just stay tuned, i guess =P

agh, kinda irrelevant, but if any of you ever come across a store that sells fake earrings, get me one ;) cuz SOME people just dont think about others when they buy cool stuff..*ahem* ;)

ok im just jumping from topic to topic, but i saw the POON'S today. that is, of course, JOHNNY AND EMILY POON. (or soon-to-be at least..) =D

played bball at church, also for the first time in a while. wow, my stamina is almost all gone, but still managed to own up..hehe

but anyhoo, after ball, alex yang came over to help me and my dad and my cousin to move furniture from wayne's house. so now my house as a new dining room set complete with a nice cabinet. haha thanks wayne!

afterwards, alex and i went to swcc to work out. then we got a lil time to talk, which was awesome. its always cool to see how God's working in other people's lives. we also started to make plans for the rest of summer. tell me if any of the following sound appealing to you: museum/zoo, astroworld, astros game, road trip to san antonio?

m..anything else happen today? cant remember...

but oh btw. all you atlanta people: im trying to make a cd for every person filled with my 400+ pictures and videos and even SONGS from the trip. just let me know if you DON'T want a copy, alright?
